Team Nexen Tire Europe launch this weekend at Drift Allstars European Series Round 1 in Birmingham.
After taking a year break from competition drifting in Europe, we are excited to announce the return of Team Nexen Tire Europe. Having enjoyed success in years past with Irish and European titles, 2012 will form the basis for the launch of a 3-car international team which will tour all over Europe on the Drift Allstars European Series tour. Nexen’s N8000 ultra high performance tire will aid their campaign as they compete against the array of Europes best drivers.

Alan Sinnot – 2011 Irish Drifting champion – will lead the team. Having proved a major threat in Ireland in 2011, Alan will lead the team on his European assault. Known for his all-out attack style, Alan on a has already proved his ability at European level after taking second place overall as a guest drive at the Drift Allstars Finals in 2011.

Lluis Lopez – 2011 Spanish champion – also showed at the Drift Allstars Finals why he is the most successful driver from South-Western Europe by taking a top 8 finish at Wembley and pushing some of the best drivers in Europe. Lopez who hails from Barcelona is ready to take up where he left off in 2011 and push to compete at the highest level.

Nexen Tire Europe are also providing official tire sponsorship for 2012 to the reigning Australian champion and 2010
Drift Allstars champion Luke Fink. One of the biggest names on the scene, Luke has winning in his blood and has not lost an event since he left the UK in 2010.Luke will be ooking to reclaim another Drift Allstars title.
