EXTREME Drift Allstars Riga attracts a star-studded entry list from across the globe.

Round 3 of the series sees the high intensity action returning to the city centre circuit Bickernicki for the classic EXTREME Drift Allstars event. In its third year this event has shone above the rest going from strength to strength, attracting drivers, fans and media from across the globe.

For 2015, the event has evolved even further with 60 drivers from 17 different countries and multiple National and European Champions all competing for the number one spot. With nearly 40,000 horsepower in cars lining up on the Grid we are about to see the best ALLSTAR line-up in Europe with the best of the best!

So lets take a minute to look at the contenders in more detail!

James Deane returns to Riga with the points lead just like in 2014. In 2014 he surprisingly went out in the top 16, but can he reign supreme and prove he is the master on the Bickernicki circuit…

Janis Eglite will come to Riga 2nd in points table, after an early exit in Sweden with a mechanical issue. He will be keen to take the win on home soil and get some points back on Deane.

Juha Poytalasskso is the new contender and after two steady the Finnish driver  holds 3rd in points and returns to one of his favourite circuits. With the high speed circuit favouring his machine Juha will definitely be one to watch.

Luke Fink returns to Riga high after taking first place in London, however with new circuits, new challenges and many new unknown competitors, we should really be able to test his skill set and see how Fink adjusts. He will be determined to reinforce his dominance on the international field.

Nigel Colfer returns to Riga where he has had mixed fortunes and previous early exits. The difference for 2015 is that he will come in with confidence of a 2nd place in Sweden new sponsors and competitive tire to keep up with the fast evolving pack.

Worth noting is that all these top 5 drivers can use a “Drop Score” meaning the championship race is all to play for, and they are all in the running.

What makes this even more interesting is this weekend there is 10 ex winners of an Drift Allstars event meaning we yet again have not seen this level of National champions and event winners in one place.
