Round 3.Global Warfare Drift Allstars Vs IDC July 2-3rd
** Drift Allstars Vs. Irish Drift Championship **

Global Warfare 3 : The Last Stand

With the Irish remaining 12 years undefeated on home soil and Drift Allstars showcasing the best drivers in the world, this is the event every drift fan has been waiting for. We have been challenged in the past by numerous international superstars, but never have drivers representing 14 countries descended on Mondello Park attempting to break the streak. This will undoubtedly be the highest-profile and most significant drift event ever held in Ireland and the biggest challenge the Irish have ever faced. IDC are ready to make history at Global Warfare 3, Drift Allstars better prepare for a fight…

Round 3 of the 2016 Irish Drift Championship COMBINED WITH Round 3 of the Drift Allstars European Series, will take place in Mondello Park on July 3rd at this event a 30-strong grid of Irish drivers will take on more than 15 international guest drivers – representing more than 14 countries around the world – as the Drift Allstars series comes to town in an attempt to defeat Ireland’s 12-year undefeated streak in competitive drifting on home soil.

With current and 4 time European drift champion James Deane from County Cork leading the Irish defence alongside ex-Boyzone band member Shane Lynch, current championship leader Duane McKeever, 16 year-old starlet Jack Shanahan and many, many more, the Irish are looking as strong as ever. We certainly need to be though, as drivers will be coming from as far away as South Africa, Australia, Lebanon and the UAE, in cars sometimes packing over 1,000 horsepower as they attempt to end our undefeated streak.

As well as the main event on the track, Global Warfare will see Gymkhana Grid make their way to Ireland as they host their Irish qualifier, with anyone able to take part and be in with a chance of winning themselves an all expenses paid trip to the final in Athens later in the year, where they could face off against legendary Gymkhana driver Ken Block, or Formula Drift driver Vaughn Gittin Jr. in the final for an amazing cash prize.

That’s not all either, as there’s also be skate and BMX demos and competitions from the Dirt Monkeys crew and plenty of other amazing Irish talents, with cash prizes on the day. With all of this going on, this is one extreme sport festival not to be missed, and it’s right on your doorstep!

When it comes to the drifting though, the pride of the Irish is well and truly on the line and we’ll do anything to make sure the streak survives. Make sure you come down to our official media day on Thursday the 30th of June so you can really grasp exactly what is on the line on the 2nd and 3rd of July.

Tickets are available from www.mondellopark.ie from 9am on Monday 30/5/16 with limited availability.
