Drift Allstars GP of Greece
For immediate release
July 9th

Drift Allstars Europe in association with Pro Action Motorport Events are happy to announce two new exhibition events for the 2012 season. The tour kicks off in Crete’s Iraklion Port on October 12-13, followed by Lavrio Port in Athens on October 20-21.

Eight of Drift Allstars’ top European drivers will go up against the best drivers from Greece and Cyprus at two of the region’s best known venues. Greece and Cyprus have always been at the forefront of drifting in the Aegean region, for 2012 they’ll be visited by the very best drivers from the rest of Europe.

The events will feature live music, DJ’s, exhibitors, display cars, gaming areas and other interactive elements. Following the Drift Allstars hallmark urban design, custom built tracks will be run under darkness at two of the biggest events these regions have hosted.

Commenting on the launch of the exhibition tour, Managing Director Niall Gunn said, “This is an exciting time for Drift Allstars. Working on this project with Pro Action events we’re looking forward to strengthening our international exposure. Thousands of Greek locals follow the series online, so it’s great to be giving the fans this opportunity to see the cars and drivers in the flesh.

Pro Action Motorport Events’ Nikos Diakakis added “We are very proud to welcome Europe’s highest profile Professional Drift series to two of our greatest venues. Our best drivers will meet the top drivers from throughout Europe for the first time. These events are an important addition to Pro Action’s portfolio, we’re delighted to be bringing something new to the area.”
