Despite initial running issues, Round 1 (London) Winner and Championship leader, Piotr Wiecek, received a change in fortune seconds before qualifying ended that saw him miraculously taking P4.
When it came to the Battles, all the main names easily marched through the Top 32. The Top 16 Grid alone had whole host of Event and Championship winners, making it anyone’s game.

Semi Final 1 – Deane vs Valdma. The young Estonian, Valdma, chased hard throughout the course but Deane’s speed was too much to compete with, with Deane taking the win.
Semi Final 2 – Karkosik vs Wartlowic. In a battle of Polish wills, the Budmat vs STW teams displayed some strong driving but Karkosik would yet again chase with no fear and get the nod from the judges to move into his first final of the 2014 season.

Final – Deane vs Karkosik. The final came down to another duel between the top qualifiers, with Deane and Karkosik both gunning for a win. Yet on what was set to be a great final to Round 2 in Czech, Deane’s car shutdown on corner 2, ending his day, and handing Karkosik the top place. Frustrating for Deane, but a deserved win for Karkosik who’d shown great skill throughout the event.
